The contrast checker runs entirely in your browser. The colors you test are never sent to us. If you use "Scan a page", the address you enter is sent to our scanner, which opens that one page, measures contrast, and returns the results. We do not store the address or anything from the page; we keep only a count of scans and an hourly-changing scrambled form of your IP address for 25 hours to limit abuse.
If you join the early-access list we store your email address, which product you asked about, the time, and the campaign tag in the link you followed, if there was one. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this site. The fonts load from Google Fonts, which, like any web request, sees your IP address.
Only to email you about AccessibilityAlert: when it opens, and occasional product updates. We never sell or share your email.
On Cloudflare (our hosting and database provider). Cloudflare processes requests to run the site.
Until you ask us to remove it.
Enter the address you signed up with. We delete it from the AccessibilityAlert list right away.
